The delegation assigned to sight the new moon of Zulhijjah 1447 Hijrah comprised of Syarie judges and officers from the Syariah Courts, State Judiciary Department, Prime Minister's Office as well as officers from the Survey Department and the State Mufti Department.

The delegations has NOT SIGHTED the new moon of Zulhijjah. The delegations were at several designated places in the Brunei Muara District; Tutong District and Belait District. Meanwhile, Muslims are encouraged to perform the act of sacrifice after the Aidil Adha Sunat Prayer and the days of Tasyriq on the 11th, 12th and 13th of Zulhijjah.
